Shipping & Atelier Processing Policy

Every creation at Maison Satyné is an exercise in deliberate craftsmanship. To maintain our commitment to slow fashion, our shipping process is divided into two distinct chapters: the Artisan Creation Window and the Transit Window.

1. Order Processing & Creation Windows

• Ready-to-Wear & Limited Collections: Orders for non-customized garments or accessories are prepared and dispatched from our Montreal studio within 3 business days, subject to stock availability and payment verification. We do not ship on weekends or statutory holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will begin processing on the following business day.

• Made-to-Measure & Bespoke Commissions: Confection begins only once your custom digital sizing profile or 3D body scan measurements are successfully submitted. Please allow an individual tailoring window of 2 to 3 weeks for our artisans to cut, sew, and hand-finish your garment before it is packaged for transit.

2. Shipping Destinations & Rates

To guarantee that your garments arrive in pristine condition, we partner exclusively with premium express couriers. To preserve the security of your high-value order, all parcels require an adult signature upon delivery. We do not authorize "safe drops" or redirect packages without a physical signature.

Consequently, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, military regions (APO/FPO), or US territories.

Our automated checkout processing will pause for international destinations, Alaska, and Hawaii. Please contact our concierge directly at hello@maisonsatyne.com so we can manually calculate and arrange a secure, fully insured premium transport solution tailored to your location.

3. Delivery Disputes, Damage, & Unclaimed Parcels

• Inspection Upon Arrival: Upon receiving your parcel, you agree to immediately inspect the package for any signs of transit damage or missing items. Any discrepancies or damage must be reported to our studio at hello@maisonsatyne.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the carrier marking the item as "Delivered," accompanied by photographic evidence of both the packaging and the contents.

• Unclaimed or Refused Shipments: If a shipment is returned to our Montreal studio due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, repeated failed delivery attempts, or a failure to coordinate pickup/signature with the carrier, the customer will be held responsible for all original shipping fees, return shipping penalties incurred by the studio, and the cost of re-shipping the items.

4. Customs, Duties & Sales Tax

• Sales Tax: Orders shipped within Canada are subject to federal and provincial sales taxes (GST/HST/QST) calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination province. Orders shipped entirely outside of Canada are exempt from Canadian sales taxes.

• Import Fees & Customs Delays: For all shipments departing Canada, local customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Maison Satyné ships worldwide on a DAP (Delivery At Place) basis and cannot assume responsibility for transit delays caused by local customs clearance procedures.

• Currency & Financial Scope: All transactions, store credits, and manual quotes are processed strictly in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Maison Satyné is not responsible for minor variations in your final financial statements caused by international currency exchange fluctuations imposed by your banking institution between the original date of purchase and any potential return.
